I am sure that it is a wonderful ride, but $2,500 per person for a 1 night ride is waaaaaay beyond the cost of an ocean cruise. A 5 star princess cruise in a balcony would normally cost around $200 CDN per day, per person. I would love to try the train, but those price are ridiculous.
@wehojm7320 Жыл бұрын
Great vlog. I was actually comparing your trip to on the ROCKY MOUNTAINEER to the one on the US side from Denver to Moab. I think the prices were comparable however I think I would prefer ending in BANAFF than Moab.

Ive done the full trip in reverse order. Different time, but was still a great experience.1 thing, talking about snow capped mountains in view & video is on a river???.

Fun trip! What are you recommendations for accommodations in Banff? I'm hoping to head there in a few weeks.

Have been looking at this for a while. There's quite a few videos out there on this trip, but all of them exclude one big thing..... What do you do while stopped over in Kamloops? Is there anything that you can book while there? Are you just "on your own" to explore the city? Do you arrive so late at night that all you can basically do is sleep at the hotel?
@jykl6082 жыл бұрын
Great video! does the Rocky Mountaineer have private cabins? (for a family of 4). Keep the good job!

Nope, seating cars only -- you get put up in a hotel in the middle in Kamloops!

You have to catch the bus to the train at 6:15 AM ???? Seriously ???? You have to be KIDDING. If this is supposed to be a vacation, why am I getting up at 5:00 AM? That is ridiculous !!!!!!!!

Pretty nice train just wish it covered more ground. Pretty boring seeing a bunch of super high tourist areas from a different PoV. Hard to consider Kamloops "north" lol.
@TheNewGreenIsBlue2 жыл бұрын
There are trains that go further north, but let's be honest... most people are there for the ride to Banff and Prince George isn't exactly on the way.

That’s a nice journey with good scenery except I would tell them they need Wi-Fi that’s just a given in this day and age no excuse on their part for not having it!
