Love the tin and the fly fishing... Your videos motivated me to give the fly a go and go down that rabbit hole. Always enjoy the content and sharing of your thought processes.

Nice work, when you’re stripping the fly keep the rod tip close to the water. It will take that droop of the fly line out and you will feel the hit sooner resulting in better hook ups

Another great video. Love to see you fly fishing.Your film quality is next level. Did you need to take any classes on production/editing or are you self taught? I am wanting to do something similar in my area so any tips you have time for would be great. I would love to see an episode on your tinies electronics and even the Contenders but I am really interested in your bow setup. I have not seen anything like it but I do live in the bush so that might have something to do with it. Even a quick blip in a normal vid would let me know where to go find what you have set up. This might be a bit per-mature but are you interested in any more travel/destination films? I was originally trying to buy a resort in Tonga but it fell thru so I have now found a private motu in the Tuamotu Archipelago that I will be developing into a fly fishing camp/resort and also putting a fly shop in the town across the lagoon, I believe it will be similar to Hello Backing's set up from the little I know of them. I have come to love you and Brooksy's videos and would love to host you two and your families or mates for a trip giving you the opportunity to do something a little different. Both of you are obvious characters and look like you would be a blast to go fishing with. I am not looking for any hard sell type promo video, I just know there is very little film of my area and any exposure is good exposure and I know you guys do top notch stuff. Maybe there is a conversation to be had there if you are interested. I haven't said anything to Brooksy about it yet. My wife and I are finally winding down the sale of everything we own in the US and will be making the final move over there around October so we can finally start the ball rolling on our project. I also have about twenty years experience as a commercial fly tier and I am a signature tier for Umpqua feather merchants. Do you have a PO Box that I could send you a few flies. I have some great patterns for the stuff your doing and would love to see you get a Doggy on a fly. Keep up the great work, Kris from Alaska

Hey Kris. really appreciate the msg and im sure Brooksy and myself would happily get on board with a trip. mathewjscholz@hotmail.com is my email. if you flick me through an email ill happily pass on more details and we can go from there, cheers

Im all self taught aswell. Ive never really asked for help because ive wanted my channel to be genuinely what I want to fish and film in my own way and im very fortunate its worked out for me and people enjoy it and appreciate some of the knowledge that comes from it. That might be an option for you, basically do what suit you and what you enjoy doing and filming and I think people appreciate the unique side of that.

I am not a native speaker. What do you say in the end of this video about survival rate and something with 6 metres?
@PelagicPursuit896 ай бұрын
sorry mate, finger mark and jew fish caught in water deeper than 6m have a 95% death rate when released.
@SoaringExperience6 ай бұрын
@@PelagicPursuit89 Wow... 6 meter is very shallow (in comparison when you are jigging). So then I got it right what you said. I just wasn't sure :) Thanks I did not know that. But I am from Germy so we do not have those species here :)
