I looked up your garden zone because I was thinking it must be similar to ours. Ours just changed from 8B to 9A. We have flirted with freezing temperatures over the last month, but haven’t gotten a major frost or freeze, so we’re enjoying a very green garden just like yours. It feels like a little bonus gift at the end of the year. Have a relaxing Christmas this year surrounded by all the beauty in your garden, your home, and inside your hearts! We had a Norfolk pine as a Christmas tree for years in NZ. They can grow to be enormous. Merry Christmas

It would be nice to have such a long growing season, even with our greenhouse ours in North Central Idaho is quite short. But we do the best we can. Love your philosophy on planting for the future. We do the same even though we may not see much fruit or shade in our lifetime.

Happy Holidays! 😊 As I watch I’m prepping cookie dough for baking tomorrow so I can begin gift giving to coworkers/friends. We have a tradition to write Dear Santa letters and post them on the family bulletin board, which I make sure everyone gets what they ask for (within reason). I asked for a laminator so I can start gifting people recipe cards that will last years. 😊
