Applied the techniques from Barry’s tutorials. I’ve improved my game massively. I made diagrams of practice structures and wrote down my percentage of success of planned shots and pots. In two weeks I’ve improved by 40%. Cue action 4 works for me. Just battling with pace at the moment but I’m noticing.

This video is so valuable for taking your game to the next level. I will be doing this routine for 10 mins every time i practice on my own from now on.

Mitch. You are so right, cue ball control off that top cushion is vital.

Great job barry, american pool player. Never played a game of snooker and recently just heard of it. Came straight here after watching some ronnie O, it has helped my game leaps and bounds. Just from watching and of course applying the technique. I would recommend any pool player to take snooker fundamentals and add it to there tool box.

Daniel. Well said. I believe the two games compliment each other and we can learn from both.

Pretty good video Barry forgot you can go into the pack high on the black as most of the time it's low.. will give that plenty of practice

Reza. Players tend to overlook the value of this type of practise, you obviously do not and that is to your credit. Well done.

Hi Barry , I hv a habit of playing those blacks with a touch of side even in matches , but I can’t seem to cannon each of those red consistently. Should I continue playing those with side or plain ball ?
@BarryStarkSnookerCoach7 жыл бұрын
ng. Its common for players to use side on these shots. You say a touch of side but it is worth examining just how much. For instance I would doubt that you use the same amount potting from the left as you do potting from the right. The main part of the shot is not to miss the pot, the rest can be worked on. I wouldn't eliminate side altogether because you will have to go backwards too much but certainly examine it and then adjust the height of where you are hitting the cue ball.

Im new to your channel and i love it i just play in pubs nothing serious but i love the game and your videos help. Hopefully one day ill get a snooker table in my own house. Is it true that pub tables are not that great to play on?
@BarryStarkSnookerCoach8 жыл бұрын
Professional players encounter different playing conditions even with the finest equipment available. It is unlikely that snooker tables housed in pubs will meet professional standards but I have come across some very good ones. So much depends upon how often it is used and who maintains it, what cloth is put on, etc.

Are you using any side in these shots?
@jick4848 жыл бұрын
i think that line up shot, first two were plain and third was little top side.. fourth and fifth should be also hit with top.
