I spent 5 minutes climbing leveled out for the bomb run and 💥, two games later I’m using a p51 (4.0) and a damn b17 is flying faster and I can’t catch up. And I’m coming out of a dive at 350 mph and this son of a bitch is maneuvering around like a damn fighter hugging the terrain and going over mountains.

Had a clutch bomber moment today. It's a close match. Both sides need just a little more and they obtain a victory. I'm coming in with my Catalina (new player) and as my left wing gets taken off I get withing range of thier airfield. I dropped my entire payload before I crashed. Destroyed the airfield and got the W for us.

For the US, can I recommend the A-26B. It has 4x12.7mm and 1x37mm equipable. Such that your armament is like a kingcobra. Two twin 12.7mm remote turrets top and bottom centre. Good bomb loads. It's actually a striker, but that's its benefit. The increased speed, mobility, weaponry and dive bombing capability makes it a superior bomber. Excellent for 7000+m bombing

@Sir_Outl4w yes but it has very good handling and energy retention, For arcade (if you’re farming) You can dive bomb (by going down with the bomb load you get speed) then drop bombs and go back up (but now your load is less, because no bombs so you can get higher with the same speed) It’s basically an energy exploit making it effective for easy high altitude bombing where planes can’t reach you (they don’t have enough compression) Since you have remote turrets it’s very easy to defend against stalling planes. This is however a very disgusting playstyle lol. That’s why I mostly play realistic and basically use it as a bomber/interceptor. With the occasional chase using the big cannon or fly-bys with the turrets

I used the pe-8 today, but there's always that no-life guy only targetting bombers (easiest target in the whole game). This destroyed my game experience, when I used my backup, he targetted me out of everything else. Gave me a headache and I took meds for that. He took his whole life just to climb to space, just for me.

@@anon-iraq2655I agree in small part with you, bombers should be killable, point closed. the problem is it is not balanced when I have to spent half match to climb and then a plane reach me in a third of the time I used and then one shots me because bombers are made of glass from your common window. That’s bs.

@@vitanera4032 what you do is climb on edge of map and if you see a fighter approaching you turn and dive, either he'll chase 5 minutes away and kill you but wastes his whole game and becomes useless to his team, or he disengage and you circle back and approach I agree it's profoundly boring gameplay unlike fighters

@@anon-iraq2655 and if he follow me he kills me, and now I wasted 20min while he just had to do 10min of climbing, and even if he don’t follow me others will, cause now I am at an height they can easily reach me. non era should spawn 1km above any fighter, so that if they want to kill bombers now they have to spend more than ten minutes and maybe hunting bombers become more of a chore than easy xp.

I've just started on pc and have found great success with the AV-8 in Air AB climbing ASAP to 10Km out of visual range claiming easy 11k Rp a game with no threat by bombing but have had terrible experiences in the past on console with low to mid tier bombers not sure if things have changed over the last 3 years with bomber hunter players but I did notice a sharp drop in repair costs on the tech tree with some dropping 50% or more from my last time playing

pe 8 best bomb loadout is the twelve fab 250, it has more base multiplier and you can destroy 2 bases with this loadout.

I just started playing in 2024 and love bombers but while sometimes I can fly unscathed and be a bombing god, more often than not I get shredded even above 6000m 😢 Spend all that time climbing with zero activity then get killed super fast when within 5-30 seconds of bomb release

It's dependant on your rating, as ratings increase using bombers become harder, as fighters can reach your altitude more easily.

If you’re playing at a BR where Fw 190s, BF 109s, spitfires, or Yak-9s exist, you’re going to likely have to deal with them regardless. It sucks hard but the best tip is to just climb while not going towards the bases, and then fly flat and level once you reach the height you want so that you have more speed

When I go into arcade battle, it just has vehicles to destroy that are moving. There’s no basis. And the vehicles out too fast at such high altitudes. Where am I going wrong?

You probably found this out but base bombing starts at br rank 2.5+ matches more or less. I never saw a beginner br rank 1 with bases. So for attacking light and medium ground targets, a fighter with guns/bombs and a strike craft is good for that close air support role. Long range bombing from high altitude is not for those small targets, but for bases. Well you can probably destroy a column at high altittude with a bomb sight if you line it up and sequence the drops.

To those that say its bad for a fighter to outclimb and intercept a bomber, would you let your people on the ground die? In real life, bombers cause mass destruction and are escorted by fighters. Most games I dont ever get an escort and everyone bum rushes fighters while the enemy has 3-4 , each going after their own target with 2 fighters each. All our fighters could do was try to climb. Since they were ao low altitude trying to fight 4 enemy planes while allowing 3/4 of the enemy team to bomb the shit out of your bases with impunity

I get more in rb but I bomb in 10.7 /9.0 destroying 2 bases by yourself gets me about 20k if you survive the game it's 6 k per base plus game activity if you can get up in the air again and get another 2 more I've gotten 40k this is with premium time no boosters tho

But bombs dont work like that. With clean 5t drop you you won't destroy the base, with 40x 0.1t you can destroy 2 bases. Probably 4x 1t also be ok. Anyway, broken german planes, which gaining altitude almost without losing speed, dont let you to farm.

Not quite as in SB you've got to land on an AF to reload your bombs and actually having the altitude less than 3 km above the ground will cause you to get shot down almost instantly as you'll be the NO1 target around.

It's way more rewarding, and bombers are just too op in that gamemode, however you'll only get half the rewards until you land the plane and that takes time and skill, but you can get used to it. Good option, but it's not for everyone so arcade it's the best way for almost anyone.

There is no safe altitude anymore. Most fighters can climb faster than you and accelerate faster than you. They also nerfed all bombers tail guns as well as bomber AI.

@@andresangulomejia8304 there is no need to play the bombers just to unlock them. It is probably very painful. The more efficient way to unlock tech trees is with premium vehicles at br +1 or just playing the game style that gets you the most fun/kills/score. If you want to play some of the small factions like sweden, you won't get as much choices as usa (early bombers are pretty good), germany, ussr, GB. But if you like the nation's style, then just play normally.

sweden seems to have dive bombers with forwrad armaments. They'll probably offload the bombs at high alttitude, then either dive down to attack ground targets or act as support firepower in 1 boom zoom run. Very different playstyle to these high altitude long range bombers. You can probably do the same, but people will try to shoot you down. More fun/exciting though than chilling at the top.

Sweden main here, yes you can, try the finnish Junkers (has more loadouts and napalms) and the B18B (2x600kg bombs I guess), but that's it for props. Sweden bombers are focused to dive bomb and CAS, so the bomber line it's kinda just a strike aircraft one, so you'll be able to bomb just one base at time. Enjoyable yes, but slow paced, way more than other nations so it's better to strike ground targets or try as interceptor, you'lle become the terror of the skies for any bomber (specially the B18B,T18B's)
