The 5K engines on the Corollas are rare since its only available on the Van versions (same with Corona and Carina). 5K engines are more common on the Liteace, and the SEADM vehicle Kijang. The K engine that were common on the Corolla's was the smaller 4K (1.3)

i had a Toyota "model F" van and it haver the "3Y-C engine" and that is the same platform as you have on those boat's. i even remember the oil filter and how it was to get to it for replacing. i replaced the headgasget with the engine in the car (under the seats) and it was to late. so i scraped the rusty old thing.

Pretty sure the motor at 6:29 is a 4A-GE 20v out of an AE101 Levin corolla, NOT a 3S-GE.

It looks like there just doing what we do but because they live in an area in the world where waterways are the main mode of transportation they modify there vehicles like we do but in cars I guess they don't have alot of roads
