Averaging right at 20mpg in highway driving. City/mixed driving hardly ever below 18. best tank was 22.4 in interstate and back road driving around 65. I have regeared to 4.10 from the factory 4.56 and that helped the mileage a bit. still working on some tweaks and an intercooler in the future to hopefully get up to 22 consistently.

Motor mounts are a custom piece. Beta test units can be available for the asking. Haven't worked up pricing yet. The other brackets for using some of your factory accessories will be available soon as well. Motor mounts utilize the factory perches, no welding is required. Mounts put the crank centerline, engine mount angle, and bell housing face in the factory location

I bet the traction fault message is from the two wires from the pcm to the abs for engine torque did you forget to pull those out of the stock engine harness? If your stand alone trans controller is separate from the p12 pcm then flash the p12 for a manual transmission. Lovely swap, exactly what I thought of doing for the throttle, and tach, cruise should work this way too?

does it respond pretty good as in overdrive is it lazy due to 4bt are low in horsepower from the factory. going into the on ramp of a interstate lets say you get on it, does it falls on its face or it goes strong.

This. Is. Awesome! I'd love to ditch this junk 3.5 and drop in a diesel. Do you still have the motor mounts to sell or are they able to be bought from a supplier? Also does the stock trans hold up? I've heard they don't like all the low rpm torque those motors put out. I was told to look for a 6l80e so that I wouldn't be maxxed out on rpms and would be able to run highway speeds

Humman Off-Road Adventures have you seen the new kit Cummins is coming out with? It's called Cummins re-power they have a 2.8 turbo diesel engine with all the wiring. I think it comes out in September of 2017

I haven't seen pricing on this yet. My guess is the engine plus ECU will be well north of $10K, but I could be wrong. Also with computer control, you are stuck with that base tune until if and when someone comes up with a tuning solution. The power numbers for this engine are a bit on the weak side if your vehicle is closer to 6000#.

Casey Simon Yeah the numbers aren't what I want then to be, but they're coming out with another engine soon too. The survey is still up, I believe, to put in your 2¢ about what motor they build next. It's at the same website. On a KZbin video with the guy in charge of re-power he said the brand new engine with the wiring harness would be 10k or less.

Check out the build thread, there was a good bit involved getting everything figured out, but now that its done, it wouldn't be too bad to do a second one. Build uses factory drivetrain but you will have to open your transmission to change the input shaft and bellhousing.

The factory harness is mostly retained, but all the unused connectors were cut back. The harness retains stuff like the crank angle sensor (used for the tach) coolant temp, AC clutch, and throttle body for my DBW implementation.

@@Breakn28 Diesels are more fuel efficient. The h3 is light compared to a 2500 or 3500. The front driveshaft, cv axles and differential had to be removed to fit the diesel swap. It has good tuning. I was putting $10 a week in diesel to get to work and back drive around. Compared to my f150 that was $10 a day. Now I’m almost done with a Dana 60 swap and suspension. So I’ll see where she will be mph wise when it’s done.

About $11k. With a $3500 zero hour rebuild engine. Total cost will depend on initial cost of the engine and the quality of parts you put into it. You could do the total project under $10k if you pick carefully on parts and do most of the work yourself.
