@@NYPATRIOTBX not on my V6. I'm about to replace my timing belt on my '10 TSX V6 with about 165K miles. It's going to be the second time I do the service, and it's going to cost me about $1.5K. It's worth the cost, I love the car.

@@Bear_Arms Well aware of the differences in the V6, but they only account for a small number of the TSX’s on the road, as the majority of them are the 2.4L . Yikes, I Couldn’t imagine paying anyone to work on my car, been a mechanic for over 22 years. If you were around me I would have surely charged you half of that. They are great cars, I just recently hit 300k with mine.

My 2012 TSX is the wagon version with that K24z3 motor. Now with 83k on the clock, I want to keep my wagon forever. Build quality, suspension, utility and that palpable fun to drive quality baked in by Honda engineering.

Awesome milestone congrats! Having owned mostly Japanese cars i can attest to their reliability. I currently own a 2010 RL 110k and 2003 CL-S 6MT 80K but the cherry on top is my girlfriends 2012 Tsx with 220K. Biggest key has been maintenance which i do religiously myself. I change all the fluids over to synthetics where possible and stay on top of anything that breaks. Her car only struts replaced due to New England roads and thats it. Hoping to hit the 500k club some day thanks for the inspiration.

My 2011 wagon just clicked over 176k miles. It was dyno tuned at 150k miles. Still drives like stock but with 40 more hp and can still hit 30mpg freeway on roadtrips 👍 I love Hondas!

That's so cool. 500,000 miles is appropriately 800,000 kilometers. Another 121,371 miles will make 1,000,000 kilometers. Another nice number rollover to capture on camera. Your Legend is getting closer to reaching it.

That's a lot of driving. I have a '10 TSX V6 with only 165K miles. Relative to this guy, I guess I'm just breaking my car in at this point. The V6 version of this car is also super reliable. I have had no major issue so far, and I purchased the car new. I love the car, I hope both me and the car will be around to hit 500k miles. At the rate I'm going, the car would have to last me another 30 years for me to see 500K miles on the odometer. I don't ever plan on selling it, so it may happen.

I have a 2009 TSX with Glacier Blue which I like very much. It has about 165k miles now and has oil consumption issue ae well. I was told many Honda's car has this kind of issues after it hits over 100k. I just change oil early when check oil level light starts to pop up. Other than that, my car is very reliable.

I have a 2012 TSX 4 cylinder with 281,000 and going strong. I brought it with 10,000 miles and just recently changed struts and the rest was routine maintenance. Still original trans so change that fluid.

I’m kind of curious about a few things… 1: Did you use regular or premium gas? 2: My 2008 TL Type S and my previous 06 TL have seemed to have leather issues. A lot of others seem to have the same. Have you noticed the wear on your leather in your TSX? 3: Did you flush your transmission fluid or is it original? 4: Does the AC work well? Just curious with you all living out there lol.

Way more miles than me. I bought a brand new 2010 TL SHAWD TECH and I currently have 57,000 miles on it. My alternator was the only thing that needed to be replaced as well. Has he had the timing belt done?

This engine is a K24 with a timing chain, not a belt. You don't need to change it.

Love my 2013 tsx I avoided the years of the oil consumption issues which were 09-10s that had the bad rings, just 340k miles to go for me to hit 500k😂

It’s wild honestly on so many levels, one is financial side his cost per mile is probably insane, but also minimizing the environmental impact by keeping this thing running until 500k, your average tesla owner would probably have bought 4-5 teslas to get 500k combined and brag about saving planet all the time.

This mileage is really impressive. There are no Acuras in the part of the world where I live, but we do have a lot of 8th generation Accords. As far as I understand, these are twin brothers with this Acura. But Accords honestly do not shine with such reliability. And I have not seen them with such a mileage.

Nice video Tyson, I have had 2 TSX here in Europe. It is actually Accord Euro CU2, mine currently is also 2010 with 2.4 and automatic, 130k miles / 210k kms. I think it would be very popular video to make, about his ownership and maintenance routine. Even though TSX is very reliable, this second generation has had some popular flaws: VTC gear, rear brakes, CV joints, oil consumption. It would be pretty amazing to see how this TSX 500k miles made with only starter being replaced.
