4DB, Glad you liked the review! It really is a great product, I'm blown away by the flammability of the fatwood shavings I get off that handle, and the ferro rod is a real work horse. It's clear you take a lot of pride in your work!

Nice review I've got one of those I have kept in my collection because it's too nice to use lol. That black smoke is sure sign of great fatwood.

Did it come with a striker? Mine do and are 2nd to none. I use 4db fire steel and HSS strikers set into lava "fat wood too the extreme" $30 for a lifetime of fire. $5 extra for every lava stick you need
