I am 49 and I own a 2018 STI fully modded in CA .Dont sell it your going to regret it. All the time and money that you spent on your car guaranteed It will come around and you will do the same thing to your future car. Just drive and enjoy maybe get the better wheel? If you live in CA ( orange county) maybe I can show you my ride.

lol. Growing up. Had my 2015 sti for 7.5 years. I’m gonna be 34 soon. Never getting rid of mine. They don’t make my Volk ce28sl and Recaro sr7 seats anymore. Makes my car unique. Sean also tuned my car when I added the 20g turbo.

sad to see it go bro, we have similar mods except I went with x500r turbo.

Nice 🔥 how do you like the x500r compared to the stock turbo

Not hating or nothing but that isn’t your dream car. People keep throwing that around cuz there’s no way it’s your dream car, you build it without cutting corners and getting rid of it within 2 years. I don’t know 😅
@4enthusiasts11 ай бұрын
You have no idea how long I waited and what I had to do to get this car. I have tons of dream cars I would love to own. When I accomplish the goal of getting it I celebrate and do what I want to it. If I had all the money in the world of course I would keep the STI

@@4enthusiasts As I said earlier I’m not bashing you or nothing. My dream car is An Evo 8 or 9 since I 1st drove in one about 2011, can’t forget that feeling. Finally bought one in Feb 2021 and been in a reputable shop since, getting the best parts possible. To me being it’s my dream car, I’m dumping all in it and will never sell it 😅. Currently building a reliable 2017 Subaru Wrx STI and that won’t get sold either 😂 but I appreciate your built.

Guess “dream car” is subjective at this point if I’m correct.

I see you also fill some foam between the front bumper and the koyo radiator?why you do that?is that improve your cooling?
@4enthusiasts11 ай бұрын
Air is lazy and goes to the path of least resistance. The foam is there to seal the gap between the cooling stack to force the car to go through the radiator. That is why cars have ducts to go into the cooling stack. If you didn’t force the air to go through the radiator, a lot of the car will seep past the cracks.

@@4enthusiasts yeh,I did the same thing,did you only do top?or you also do bottom and side
@4enthusiasts11 ай бұрын
Top bottom and sides. Also did it to my front mount Intercooler
@kiritowow273611 ай бұрын
@@4enthusiasts what do you use to seal the bottom, I seal the top use some foam, but looks like bottom is very hard to reach in for those foam, side I think it is fine since there is some OEM foam
@4enthusiasts11 ай бұрын
Gotta remove the bumper. Just some sealant foam used for widows

I don't know what your not hearing guy. It sounds pretty loud to me. Besides louder doesn't mean faster. I wish my neighbor with his straight piped, 120 hp Civic would learn that.

Haha right it sounds like He's in his 20s. You're supposed to be having fun at that age. Heck I'm 40 and still building cars.
@4enthusiasts11 ай бұрын
If your 40, you out of all people should know why then
@roninlaw982411 ай бұрын
Trust me 40 is not that old. If you eat right and take care of your body you'll have give or take 6 more decades to decide how to live your life as an adult. And during that process life can become quite dull and monotonous. It's important to enjoy life. What ever makes you happy, as long as it's not harming others, is what you should focus on. I mean I'm not judging you, to each their own. All I'm saying is don't fret over what you might perceive as a societal standard. If you love your car, don't worry about what other people think. This is my 3rd WRX\STI. Haha my 2018 is my grown up version. By the way, it's a really great build. Decent numbers too for remaining carb compliant.
