@@KazuSannn Sort of, kind of, but not wholly. The person who lead the design team for the NB worked on the design team for the first gen Viper, but they were not the lead designer. Whether or not they created the design that the Viper team finalized, I don't know, but they clearly brought the inspiration with them to the NB Miata team.

Grip has always and will always be faster than drifting... I didn't think anyone needed proof of that but drifting is about style, not speed.

That's an overstatement. Sometimes drift is obviously working very damn well in this video. It was about the drivers, Miata did very few mistakes. It's probably easier to say that grip is easier than drifting therefore often faster.

@@pedromfl Grip is obviously better than drifting for timed races. This race is a perfect example of low power with traction vs high power with low traction. You're wasting time keeping the car controlled in a drift.

Savoury Lobster yes, I keep hearing that fact but just never see or found a direct demonstrated comparison video on the internet. Drifting is cool but that doesnt help them win in this race. Unless they implement a “style” point and rewarded by reducing lap time.

What’s even worse about that is you can buy the Miata for like 35,000 and then go to flying Miata in Colorado and pay about 6-7 thousand for a supper charger or turbo and make 200hp so all together it’s like 41-42 thousand and you just stomped that 200k car

Hey. No FWDs are allowed. You don't need to go sideways, you need to go as fast as possible, just sometimes sideways is the fastest way.

Pomimo iż było tam bardzo dużo wspaniałych samochodów kierowców to organizacyjnie impreza do kitu. Brak telebimu, podświetlanej tablicy z czasami, miejsca numerowane nie wiadomo w jakim celu gdyż tylko wprowadziło to spory chaos , , toalety były chyba tylko w dwóch miejscach o ile dobrze zauważyłem. Pomijam fakt iż ten kto zapłacił tyle kasy za bilet VIP wyszedł na idiotę gdyż ich miejsca były po prostu w szarej strefie. Kiepska widoczność, a cała akcja, walka odbywała się tak naprawdę na środku czyli w okolicy wierzy widokowej . To zwykłe naciąganie ludzi na kasę i nic po za tym. Wielka szkoda i wstyd.
