Karen went to trial so the videos were shown as evidence to a jury. Anyone can request the evidence that was presented because it’s public. That is how those videos were able to be released. The news cast, journalist, etc. most likely requested the footage. Anyone is also able to walk in and sit in on the trial. If she didn’t go to trial, then those videos wouldn’t be accessible to the public which is why you may not see others interrogation videos (because they took a plea deal).

I’m from Toronto and my husband and I purchased our K-Dot tickets for the June concert. I haven’t heard anything about Drake getting involved on our local news and gossip sites. But I’m all for it if it means K-Dot will make the concert free and we get to save a few dollars 😂 Weirdly, the concert is not sold out yet and I only heard promotions for the tickets for like a day or two. Drake is unfortunately extremely influential in the Canadian music industry and some Canadians have a weird loyalty to him because we watch him grow up on TV. Even my mom is mad as hell that I'm going to this concert and doesn't believe any of the accusations

I also think Karen's pretentious behavior after the guilty verdict was probably the reason the court released everything, too. Cause after the "Although we are disappointed in the jury's verdict, we of course respect their decision and appreciate their time hearing our case." Karen asked for a jury trial, thinking that because she was reality TV famous, she was going to win in the publics eyes... Not realizing her zip code is not that kind of public. A jury of your peers is literally that your peers are probably rich, too.
