Denzel becoming a minister was such a natural occurrence to me. I’ve always said that no matter what role he plays he always seems like he is “preaching”, you almost forget that he’s acting and really just take in the message that he’s trying to convey. Speaking of next life tasks, I would love to see his wife on the big screen now that Denzel is wrapping up his career. I saw her act in a stage play here in Atlanta and she was so good.

Royce story makes me sad! I’m from Orlando and have seen her out more than I’d like lol. Her story has not changed once which makes me believe she is being tormented behind the scenes. I too have a daughter that’s 17 and I have fallen victim to trying to be the bigger person many many time with my child father. I didn’t reconcile with my daughter father but I have tried to turn the other cheek and start anew more times than I’d like to admit. I pray Royce seeks healing and find it.

I believe Royce. I have compassion for her. I feel sad for her and her son. It seems like she has been through a lot and is still struggling. I hope she finds true love, rebuilds her life and gets her happily ever after. I hope her son finds healing and becomes the man he was destined to be. I hope he doesn’t let his past destroy him. Prayers to all involved. This is a really sad situation 😢

I don't know about Royce and Dwight, but I gathered that they are enablers who allow their emotions to guide and lead them in negative directions. Once again, hurt people continue to hurt each other and those around us because they do not love/like themselves, but they think they can change the other person or do better by having a child/ren they can project/transfer the "best" parts of themselves.

Regarding Royce, the impact of abuse is so far reaching. I’m sure she knew all of the red flags were indeed red flags. But, that abuse will have you in a constant loop of being treated half way decent, then bad, then great, then awful. You just get used to the crazy and start to think this is just your normal. I have a great deal of compassion for her.

If a man does want to have children he needs to make sure he doesn't get anyone pregnant. Men need to be taught to take autonomy over their reproduction. People can’t just abandon their kids after the fact. However, something tells that Dwight should not be around kids and Royce didn't really care if something happened to her kid around him and now she feels guilty because the kid is missed up.

OK, so here’s my issue with Royce. I understand the struggle and everything that she went through respected but for her to put her child’s business out there when he is a 17 year-old young man that has to go into high school I have to go to college that has to deal with the Internet that was my problem. I don’t believe it was her place tosay what happened to him with in detail because that’s not her story. That’s what I didn’t like.

I went to the same church as The Washingtons, West Angeles. I’ve seen Pauletta more, she’s even led a little praise & worship 😌 They even have an audiobook of them both narrating the Bible, so this wasn’t that surprising to me for Denzel (maybe a little).
