Top Video.
@rudolfhurlimann53362 жыл бұрын

Love to see these videos instead of the looped adverts or crappy demo videos on the TV's at the stores .On a 82 inch sets would be great..They would sell tons of TV's and you will make money through licensing they will pay you to run these videos..

You are traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. Your next stop, the Twilight Zone! " All aboard"! The night train is the only means of travel in and out of the twilight zone. It is not so much a place as it is a time. For every passenger the experience is different. Tonight many will feel the need to sleep but before they do....the Night Train may have something special instore for it's passengers! "Excuse me....Mr. Conductor"? "What stop is up next"? " The town is called 'Anywheresville' mam". "What kind of name is that for a town..... I've never heard of it"! "It's everything and anything for everyone mam". " What do you mean by that"?! ....." Mam....if you get off at Anywheresville you can just make a wish upon stepping off the Night Train and it will be so". In this episode everyone on this train wants to just 😴 But imagine if you will, a place where you can grow up again. A place where you can change your life as you know it. Anything is now possible if you step off! But be warned..... there's no coming back. So if sleep is all you need then I suggest you close your eyes and by pass the next stop. This stop is a place that also exists in your dreams....or a Night Train going anywhere....in the twilight zone.

I enjoyed your earlier version, but one can never get too much Swiss railways. Gopperstein. 1. How long were you actually held there? 2. Those ferries' coaches seem to hold too few passengers for the number of cars. Was the cross at 42.** a slalom requirement for either of you? Thanks again. I recall well this reverse journey from Spiez to Brig. Have a great 2021.

Just an observation. Loco 'hauled' passenger trains from Zurich have there locomotive at the Zurich end of the train? (except those with 2 locomotives). Possibly due to the train being serviced and assembled just to the west of Zurich Hbf
@lorirocks7773 жыл бұрын
Due to the fact that 1st class is always on the Locomotive side as the control wagon is 2nd class and 1st class is therefore closer to the exit.

At the first part of the video I don't get why they went to the incredible amount of work and expense to carve the tracks into the mountainside also having to build all of those bridges and tunnels. What was wrong with the tracks that were down in the valley?
@lorirocks777 Жыл бұрын
The difference is the destination. If you want to go to Frutigen taking the tracks in the valley as they were, it would have taken 5 to 6 hours. On this line it takes about 40 minutes. The height gained made the tunnel through the Lötschberg shorter and the entire project more feasible.
@lorirocks777 Жыл бұрын
The tracks along the valley just continue along the valley. The line we're on crosses the alps.
@austindarrenor Жыл бұрын
@@lorirocks777 Aha. Thanks for the reply. And what a chore that must have been carving those tracks into the mountainside! And with all the tunnels and bridges. I went to boarding school for four years in Territet and Leysin late 1960's, early 1970's. I love watching your videos. Vive la Suisse! 🥰
