If you're around Machida, I can recommend Yurigaoka for a walk. It's just a quiet neighbourhood, but if you follow the slopes uphill you can overlook the whole town. Tamagawagakuen-mae to Machida is also a nice walk. There is a canal and a shrine on the way if you keep walking along the train tracks. Just make sure the slopes don't kill you in the heat. lol

Thanks for sharing this. I taught at a college in Machida for a semester, two years before you took this. It was fun to walk those streets again on your walk... especially since we can't travel to Japan again during C-19. It was fun to see cafes and izakaya I visited. I am amazed that you didn't have anyone hassle you about taking video. I could see people a bit uncomfortable if I took a photo (even with an old film camera). Do you walk around with a keitai on a gimble or have a GoPro on your hat? Just wondering. Thanks and best wishes.

Nice to see that the "normal" districts and bazars are clean and tidy as well (and they look aesthetic and original, of course). Thanks for showing the full picture of this city. @Rambalac6 жыл бұрын
Yes, few times. One time some strange dude came out of nowhere and started complaint that I can hit someone. Other to time one bum looking woman came started quietly saying that I cannot use camera on the street even when I was not filming anything and was not going, just watching video from different place. Few times I did not notice no camera sign but that was just saying "no camera" and I left immediately.

Imagine you getting sponsored, and that helps you to explore more distanced areas. But who would sponsor you? Documentary filmmakers? If you did airports, i could see them sponsoring you, but who could sponsor you when what your filming is so public. Maybe you could get oney for including specific shops in your videos. GL :-)
