The most coldest and hardest lines is D16 becoming Megatron leader of the Decepticons and Orion becoming Optimus Prime leader of the Autobots this battle basically lasted millions and billion years on Cybertron before getting to the live action movies I wish they would have gave us a sequel of Grimlock being in his movie and his team

Even though nobody was capable of transforming for most of the film, D-16 was the one who transformed the most. You could see it in his eyes. At first, they were yellow and felt vibrant while he and Orion were friends. Then, they felt more amber-like when he learned the truth about Sentinal, signifying he was bent, but not broken. In other words, he wasn’t really Orion’s friend anymore. Finally, they turned red, signifying that his true transformation was complete. D-16 is gone. He transformed into Megatron

Jeez, was D-16/Megatron so spiteful to the point that he had no remorseful thoughts about his friend? For accidentally shooting him, dropping him or even trying to deliberately kill him when he was revived? Yeah, no. If you're too spiteful or prideful to be sorry for what you do, then you lost any sympathy I have for you...

Its not just spite, Orion led him into what could only be described as the worst couple of days in his life, he also had lost all faith in societal leaders which Orion was chosen by god to be. Optimus represents a lot of pain for him in that moment, not to mention protecting Sentinel, the bot that just recently tortured him probably just exasperated the issue. Not saying D16 is justified, just explaining his mindset

He had every right to be upset and angry for being lied to his whole life, but him letting a taste of power and bloodlust get to his head is what set him on the path of evil. The reason why Orion jumped in the middle of D-16s shot was to save what little sanity he had left, sadly, it was already too late as D-16 was far too consumed with hate and vengeance. “Vengeance is like a poison, it can turn us into something we are not… something ugly.” -Aunt May (spider-Man three)

Its not accidental shot its Orion that tries to defend the traitor fake Prime Sentinel, and at that moment D-16 seen Orion as traitor as well for trying to defend Sentinel then later Primus choose Orion to become Prime the one that tried to defend Sentinel that's why Megatron continue attacking Optimus Prime

This film was pure Transformers. There's no other way to describe it. This is the greatest Transformers product that we have gotten in a LONG while. While I personally prefer the records clerk origin story for Orion Pax, this film MORE than did his character justice, both as Orion Pax AND Optimus Prime.

The same thing Batman wants for The Joker, for him to stand trial, imprison, then if the jury dictated it, execution. Optimus’s point is that you can’t just flat out kill the tyrant as a start of a new system, since that would be replacing a tyrant with a tyrant. Instead, demonstrate the legitimacy of the new system via a trial of the old tyrant.
