Why was the line closed to Bergan ? Why did the snowblower at Vos have red rather than white lights for direction of travel ? Love the way you dip the lights for vehicles Have you stopped switching the cab light on to greet other drivers when you're filming (I can't see any reflection) ? Dunno whether the operating rules will allow it, but to preserve some night vision when faced with an oncoming train on main beam lights, close one of your eye's. Trucks drivers do it in the UK.
@RailCowGirl3 жыл бұрын
Because they are connecting the new tunnel between Arna and Bergen. Because it was backing down to track 2. We always dim the lights so we don't ruin the night vision for other drivers and we do turn on the lights in the cab to greet them. Reflection depends on the angle and distance to the windshield ;) We just simply look away.

Your country doesn't seem to suffer from a lack of precipitation due to climate change, doesn't it? -In my region in Bavaria, the deeper soil levels of -1m and less are dried out completely. The highest drought level on the scale (extrem heavy drought) is still valid by this time. Usually by this time, we have lots of precipitation, but there is hardly no. It snowed 3cm of snow the Tuesday ago. The air is so dry, that today's precipitation (and probably the one from the days before) already evaporated before even arraving on the ground. Before the snowfall, there has been no downfall at all for at least three weeks. This year was the first time with longterm contaminated or no more tap water in some regions in Germany... I don't wanna imagine the next years, if winter precipitation is heavily reduced by climate change, as well
@RailCowGirl3 жыл бұрын
Well, we are suffering, but we have the opposite of you. More rain.... more extreme amounts of rain coming down... eroding, overrunning water infrastructure, land slides, rock slides and avalanches. So saying that we’re not suffering would be wrong. We are just impacted in a different way. Out winter are shorter, less snow in the lowlands and more extreme amounts of snow in the mountains.
@tobyw.16883 жыл бұрын
@@RailCowGirl , ah this is another phenomen I mean to have discovered: Usual weather situations like rainfall and sunshine alternating each other all the time by April is replaced by dry desert-like weather in Germany with the normal weather being "handed over" to usual drier countries like France, Italy or Spain. If this is really true, you may have the rain that would normaly fall in Germany
