I totally agree when you said that there is joy in saying "NO" to certain things. I've been practicing that since I figured out that it's okay to say "No" to situations, to toxic people, and to societal pressures. Certainly, we have our own timeline for doing things -- like completing further studies, getting married, having babies, starting a business. And focusing our attention on these external pressures can deprive us of the true joy we deserve. I'm glad I've been following your vlogs for awhile now. They remind me to take things slowly, even when people around you are ahead of their plans, and to find simple joys in our everyday life. You inspire me, Dee. You are a blessing to others.

i first learned about slow living through your channel. pero at that time, di pa talaga meaning ng slow leaving ang nasa utak ko...more on yung design or yung aesthetic na mga gamit ginaya ko...pero later I relized thriefted pala mostly, mga simple old stuff na repurpose lang ay aethetic pala, yung dating besheet ginawang kurtina...mga ganon... hindi ko na inisip yung malalaki mamahaling gamit...yung simple lang na andyan lang sa sulok ng bahay. Later on i realized I'm living a very simple life na pala, yung hindi ko na iniisip kung anong sasabihin ng mga tao sa akin. one way din ang pag slow living is helped me not mind other people's opinion sa buhay ko for as long as hindi ako nakakasakit ng ibang tao. dati overthingking, futuristic and sobrang paranoid sa life especially sa career. i am rushing to find clients kasi freelance va ako, and gusto ko ng madaming client para madaming kita...pero i realized...papatayin lang pala ako sa sakit...kulang sa tulog, toxic diet...stress etc. so i decided to only focus kung anong meron ako... and sa tingin ko biniyayaan ako ni Lord kahit papaano kasi i found a way to earn na nasa bahay ako. ngayon na medyo hirap akong lumakad, for a corporate job, natuto na ako sa mga di gaanong malaking income pero i am able to take care of the kids while earning. dati shopping ang stress reliever ko...pero ngayon, yung simpleng pag huhugas mg pinggan sobrang masaya na ako...kinikilig... pati paglilinis ng cr, believe me sobrang saya ko na. making my comfort zone simple, clean and tidy ay sobrang masaya na ako. at yung makasama ko mga anak ko most of the time guiding them.. i hate my life before for experiencing agoraphobia, pero i prayed kay Lord na sana matanggap ko na ok lang hindi na makapag travel ang importante walang atake ng anxiety at kontento... and that's what slow living for me0--KONTENTO. thank you sa channel mo Ms. Simple Dee
