Saw her at the Cain’s Ballroom in Feb and it was amazing, a special show. She said something special was going on threw away the set list and played songs from deep in her catalog and fans requests and played way longer than her regular set with almost a full set of encores. I was blown away!! I have been to hundreds of concerts but she was full of the anointing spirit of rock and roll and we all were baptized in the spirit that night. Grace Potter is the living embodiment of Rock & Roll!! Rock is not dead!!

I also saw her at Cains In Feb 2020. I was pretty close, about 3 standing rows back. I loved every minute of it. Of course there had to be a drama whore in the crowd that tried to push and shove her way to the front but she got her butt tossed... she called me a old hag. Well screw her this old has never budged from my spot! 😝

@@ladyblu336 I had a similar experience ~ young girl smelling of whiskey wanted the handicap area usher to remove me for having a large wheelchair. (They were trying to squeeze 3 companions into a spot with 1 handicap man.) The girl kept wanting to fight me & said “the ‘80’s want their look back”. -see profile pic taken that night. Our generation IS rock and roll ✌️🎸

That Empty Heart rocked so hard--woowee! And the beginning of Nothing But the Water was so soulful--my oh my! But Rather Go Blind takes the cake and is so so powerful--brought tears of joy to my eyes! This is one of the best concert videos I've seen, and I'm saying that coming from Grateful Dead and Dead cover band shows with their amazing jams.

Shared this on a site called Spark People I'm not quite sure how this will fit in to the program, but just something I wanted to share. I am a big fan of music of all sorts. One of my favorite artist is Grace Potter. She once was in a band called Grace Potter and the Nocturnal's. She has since gone solo. Struggles of divorce, a new marriage and the birth of her child had her in a tail spin and almost forced her to give up her music career. Through some soul searching and the making of a new album she made a decision to go on tour. Myself and my wife were fortunate enough to go and see her at Charleston City Music Hall in Charleston, South Carolina on January 8th of 2020. I have been to several concerts through out my life and on one occasion I recall how I let my ego and judgment affect me at a Rush concert. I was suppose to be having a good time, but yet was disturbed when the people in front of us stood up and started dancing. My wife and son were with me and I passed on my negativity to them. I eventually got on my feet and was dancing and let it go. The reason I bring this up is what happened at the Grace Potter concert.Shortly after her opening song she said a few words to the crowd and I distinctly remember her telling us to let our neighbors, the people in front, behind, so on and so forth to enjoy the concert in our own individual way. If someone stands up it's okay, if they want to shout out and sing well let it be. This took me back to the Rush concert and how I can create my own demons. This turned out to be the best concert ever. At the end of the concert we were all on our feet, having the best time of our lives. Thanks so much Grace Potter, you have given me a full and thankful heart. Rest in peace "Neil Peart" Moral of the story " Live and Let Live"

Thank you so much for sharing this entire concert from Grace !!! I have been a fan of hers for about 10 years now. I had seriously thought of going to this show since I live near by. I Regret now that I didn't go see Grace , because I live just an hour away from Indianapolis. At least I have this video you uploaded to watch.
