I'm glad I found this video. My Yak 52 didn't come with any instruction manuals. Now I can go and figure out how to fly.

Allmost 30 years ago up in Sweden i was so lucky when i got a ride in one of those 52’s - a 15 minute flight with full aerobatics with a very very competent pilot. We had rented the pilots clubhouse on the airfield when we were up there driving som enduro, one afternoon i saw this dude throwing this thing about in the air and i was awestruck, when he landed i just walked up to him and asked if i could get a ride, that was my lucky day and i will never forget it 👍

That sounds like you were extremely lucky, love it when other pilots are happy to share their passion, even more when they not how to fly properly :)

Gotta respect any man who's phones screen saver is his beautiful Dog! Great POV of a Y52. Almost bought one in 2020 but opted for a 94 Dodge Viper RT-10 instead. Couldn't afford both sadly. This young fella is obviously doing well flying high ❤ keep up the great content.

On the Grass Air Strip the soil looked really dry and that probably didn't help with the bumpy Taxi.

Hi Phillip, on your Short video, flying in your plane on the Low flying Bush Flight, with Konstantin, it looks like you took off from the same Grass Strip. I just watched that Short again and it is amazing how much Greener the grass on the Air Field was during your flight with him as opposed to this filming. If you have more footage of that flight it would be great if you could create a full video of your flight together.

Hi Phillip, love the Charcoal Grey color and the Red color designs as well. It is great that the plane was recently serviced and nice and clean. It looks like it was waxed as well with the nice bright shine. I am not familiar with a Yak 52 so glad to see it up close. You mentioned that you had to turn the prop 16 blades before starting. Is this required because it was sitting and cold or do you need to do that procedure all the time? It is amazing that the plane is rated for up to 7 G's. The Seat Belt looks very substantial and I guess needed with the high G force capability. What is the most G force you have experienced in that Yak 52? Liked the sign of being able to fly much faster in an F16. Great Startup and Preflight video and looking forward to seeing it fly on the next video.

Hi Ben, thanks a lot for your feedback! So yeah, the plane has a ceramic coating on the paint. The prop turning procedure indeed is to be done before each cold start! I had 6G once, but that was already shorty before blackout..let´s see what I'm capable of in future after aerobatic training..

Great Aircraft, beautifully done, however “The full Procedure” not quite. Navigation Lights, Pitot Heat, and more importantly Fuel Drain/ Water Checks.
