I know I'm 2 years late on this, but it's up to people's preferences. If they have a 4K TV of course they'd like to make the best use of it, PS4 Pro would be best for them. For those with 1080p displays the PS4 and Xbox One does just fine.

Switch between 60 and 30 fps is so jarring and it really takes away from the gameplay experience. I had the same issue in Mortal Kombat X with X-rays and fatalities. It really should be 60 fps across the board. I really hope the next-gen machines won't have an issue like this.

The PS4 Pro was designed to be a cheap upgrade that allows a PS4 to send a picture that looks good on 2160p LCD screens, since LCDs are the most common type and the LCD panel type induces weird, ugly blurring when its source signal is below its native resolution. The fact that PS4 achieves this fix under $400 is a minor miracle. People screaming "1400p!" are missing the point in spectacular fashion. I have a 4k LG tv as well and I saw very minor differences that were pointed out this video but pound for pound its not worth it Im not going to spend an additional $300 to $400 for a new console because has slightly better graphics in the background thats just ridiculous.
