Farewell Kalitta Charters II 727-200 sad to see it go! 😢

At least USA Jet still has the 727 for now. Need to get down to YIP before they're trashed. I gotta hear one in person!

As much as we’l miss the 727, It is certainly a unique of its kind. But as always great video and work, and hope you had a wonderful time in the makings of all your contents. As always, I’m sure many look forward towards more any day! 🔥👍✈️🥇

I got to see "Air Horse One" (N725CK) three times at DAL and that was such an experience... Got to sit on top of one of the parking garages on the west side right as it taxied past and I'll never forget the sound and the smell. Such a great era of aviation that is slowly disappearing.

It’s so sad to see TRUE aviation completely disappear.. once the classics are gone between cargo & the airlines, I’ll probably be done with aviation. I cannot stand the modern junk we have in our skies today. I miss hearing those loud engines (even at idle) and smelling the jet fuel as it taxis by you or starts up.. kids these days won’t know anything about that sadly

@@jonahair747 I am right there with you. I'm a Delta Loyalist but once the 71, 75 and 76 are done, thats a wrap. Flying will be so boring.

Thank you brother, another classic gone.. I hope aviation is saved from destruction soon.. I don’t know what I’m going to do when the rest of the “classics” are gone between cargo & the airlines.

As a kid growing up in the '70s I was lucky enough to fly on 727's every summer. Western Airlines or PSA, all up and down the coast of California. Boarded and de-boarded from the rear stairwell many times, very cool as a kid! It's amazing that these fantastic jets are flying even at all anymore. Love the crackle of those old Pratt & Whitney's.

I love that story, thank you for sharing! As for me, growing up in the 90s, I was able to catch the last stretch of prime time aviation. DC-9’s, 727’s, MD-80’s, 737-200’s, L-1011’s, DC-10’s etc. when the early 2000’s hit, that’s when TRUE aviation started to die off. I miss it dearly.

@@jonahair747 With the exception of the L-1011, I have been a passenger on all the aircraft you mentioned above, I've even flown on a United DC-8......yeah, I've lived a few decades... And then maybe a few more. Lol Love your channel👍✈👍
