I appreciate that they provided 2 hot meals. I took Lufthansa from FRA to IAH and the second meal was a cold sandwich, small yogurt, and chocolate bar, despite the schedule flight time of 10+ hours.

Thank you for your response, yes it is nice to receive 2 meals. This is the case on most KLM long-haul flights, except for example to New York. it has to do with the duration of your flight. Delta is also good.

Great video, I am surprised they replaced the 787-9 with the 330-300 and 330-200 for this route How do you compare the 330 to the 787 for this route? I cant complain as I like the 2-4-2 better. Cheers

I don't really understand it either, I am also in favor of the 787, partly because of the better Business class with 1-2-1 setup. In addition, the A330-300 does not have a converted economy class and is therefore very outdated. The only advantage is indeed the 2-4-2 arrangement. I am more in favor of the 787, especially on this long route it would be better and more economical for KLM, but it also has to do with aircraft capacity. By the way, they do fly the 787 in the winter.

I fly this route about three times a year. Unfortunately, KLM has been using the older A330’s this year. In the past they used the new 787’s. But always good crew and service.

well, no profit for klm on this empty flight in the old polluting A330. When do they skip this plane? went with it in BC towards Havana when they 'stole' it from MP. Now you have to fly through Paris or Madrid which dislike a lot.

Because the cabin is not full does not mean no profit.
