Whereare the people? Not a single soul. Tall buildings are a dime a dozen nowadays. The globe is full of them. And none of the buildings I have seen linger in my memory, be it buildings in Dubai and elsewhere. I honestly believe Saudis could do a lot better with all the money they have. A livable, walkable, bikeable, denser green city with a robust community is the way to go. Countries with much less wealth are crushing it. Just a thought. Edit. I saw a handful of people towards the end.
@dilchaspmanazar99556 ай бұрын
There are multiple reasons, climate is the biggest problem, extremely hot weather conditions and every second day sand storms might made this situation for almost no pedestrians anywhere. But on the other hand, Saudi Government is building new climate friendly zero carbon emissions cities and they are also making the old cities greener slowly slowly as well which they plan to complete until 2030.

Blud stop crying it’s literally a highway you want someone to walk on the highway
@bircruz5556 ай бұрын
@@fakhan132 You must be blind. The video shows more than the highway. There are buildings alongside the road. They are NOT on the highway. I saw no people on the sidewalks or coming out or going into buildings. And I do not cry for Saudi Arabia, except when it decapitates women on the public square. So barbaric. No amount of buildings are going to wash that away in the memory of any decent person. You asked for it.

The climate is very hot there. That's why there are just a few pedestrians.

It's a boring and bad city, Dubai is much better
@dilchaspmanazar99556 ай бұрын
There is no comparison of Dubai and Riyadh at the moment. Dubai is more developed for sure. But if we explore Riyadh city properly then it doesn't disappoint in anyways. Secondly there are still many projects going on in the city to make it even more pleasing and attractive to tourists. I'm sure the general perspective will change after a few years due to the amount of development in the city.

@@dilchaspmanazar9955 There should be more green spaces. Also, the temperature is very high. It gives me the feeling that it is a dusty desert city with no clean air

due to extreme weather conditions and having sand storms very often, make the overall experience a bit unpleasant but the Saudi government is making their cities greener slowly but surely.
