Georgetown is a charming area with Federal-style architecture, cobblestone streets and fashion and design shops. The dining scene is defined by upmarket restaurants and waterfront seafood spots, along the Potomac river, while nightlife spans boisterous college bars, traditional taverns and intimate live music lounges. Georgetown Waterfront Park has a riverside promenade and gardens, and there's a bike path along the C&O Canal.
You really have to visit Georgetown when coming to this city.
This urban walk watching nature and the riverside was a pleasure and everybody. should be able to experience it. It was a perfect day. An awesome walk where to feel city. I went to George Washington University. I lived around the DC area for around 10 years. George Town is an area I'm very familiar with. Loved seeing the green area and the walkways along the Patomac are well taken care off. This video brings great memories. I remember once we were sitting in Sequoia restaurant (seen in the video) and President Bill Clinton, Hellary and Chelsea sat at a table close to us (after agents with shades swamped the place, and no more guests were admitted to the restaurant). No mobiles to take pictures at that time 😄. This was back in the nineties. Loved the video. Thanks for sharing.
