As an introvert autistic person, I'd love to live in this place, no people around to disturb my peace, snow quietly falling on the ground, it would be a paradise for me.

I'm always amazed at the traffic in these videos. For a city like Nuuk that's kind of small and no existing highway system much beyond a few miles out of the city limits, there always seems to be a pretty good amount of traffic at all hours.

And very few tourists or tourism. So I totally agree with you

Looks cosy asf which i love but the peace & quiet I'd find too hard. I'm such a city lass, still very interesting. Thanks for sharing

So much has changed since last time I was in Nuuk, it was back in 1999, so more than 20 years ago.

Wow that’s cool. They are slowly opening up to tourism now. They are apparently trying to attract new tourists to Nuuk via direct US and Canada flights once they expand the airport there. They have no choice if they want to survive in case they decide to leave Denmark.

I was also there in 1999. It was very different. Viking raiders would make sacrifices to Odin before setting sail to raid distant villages. Greenland has certainly modernized now.

Enthralling. I now feel as though I've been there; and this video makes me consider to move away from southern Pennsylvania where I often feel broiled alive in summer!.. License plates begin with either GL-0000... or GR-0000... Does that difference signify anything? Also, it looks like Mitsubishi are the most popular cars in Groenland..
@thesilentwanderlust Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind comment. I am not so sure about the license plates but GR and GL both stand for Greenland and I don’t think there is any difference.

Why hardly no-one walks in that town, only cars in a small town? And then every wonders about the climate change....
