4L80E G BODY CROSSMEBER ON A BUDGET

So yes you can buy a crossmember for your ls 4l80e swap and pay good money for one. It would be really nice and possible fit great, but that is not very budget friendly. Some guys don't have the money or have already spent so much we try to help them out and make parts to save for other parts.
This crossmember I modified cost nothing but time and some welding. It saved my buddy Steve over $200 just for this one part and was very simple to to. We are trying to stick to the channels purpose and that's to help guys save money by using the parts they may already have. There is some stuff you have to do and yes its not perfect but it was function flawlessly. If you have and questions message me and I can do my best to help you.

Looks like a g body crossmember for a non overdrive transmission. They mounted much ferther forward on the driver's side. They didn't even start putting the rear mounting holes on the left side of the frame until 82.

The back pad & holes is for the 200-4r on the driver side & it actually became standard on gbodys in 1984 as the 83 hurst olds got the 200-4r before the other gbodys.

Kinda wish I had done mine this way looking back.. bought a GForce for cheap but it ended up being for a 60e. Had to hack it apart anyways for my 80e lol.
