I designed and 3d printed these arrowheads with 4 inlets and 4 chambers to create 4 notes of different frequencies.

Totally awesome! This would be a great nosecone for my homemade airsoft 50mm mortar.

Absolutely, scale up the diameter and it will sound like a train...

I do not have a 3d printer, so I'll have to wing it!

could probably use these as a sound effect method for movies, strap a 4 note arrowhead and rip it past a mic

Quick question did you make that crossbow yourself? If not then what brand is it?
@GermyBallswell2 жыл бұрын
I usually use a vintage Barnett wildcat 150 lb recurve, but in this video I used 2 "sas manticore". They're are a pretty dead on Chinese copy of my old barrnett, and actually nicer in a lot of ways. Foot hold on the front and smoother trigger/safety, they're still probably the cheapest crossbow out there $100 on Amazon. They work for what I do.

Thats technically a bolt because its fired from a crossbow
@GermyBallswell Жыл бұрын
There's always one person to say that. And I think they have just decided that in their head. But no. Just because it's a crossbow doesn't make it a bolt. These are 20 inch crossbow arrows. Bolts are short heavy little things with 2 fletchings that they used to shoot in medieval times. Video games make everyone a misinformed expert on weapons.

@@GermyBallswell well i got that info from a medieval weapons expert reviewing a movie, not a game, kinda rude for you to assume... After googling a bit though it seems you're correct, modern crossbows use arrows while medieval ones use bolts and quarrels. Thanks for correcting me!

@@idkwhatthisisforplzhelp3678 sorry, that WAS kinda rude. People try to correct me on that so often that I get irritated but that was ghey of me

@@GermyBallswell Ah, I was wondering what the difference was between a bolt and an arrow. Good to know: A quick way to tell the which is which is that arrows have three fletchings, bolts have two. It's not the only difference, but it's the most notable one.
