4th element Argonaut: Dry suit zip replacement. Socks to booties replacement

This suit had the severe plastic zip delamination problem. The zip had to be replaced. In addition, the sock, initially installed on this suit, needed to be replaced to 4th element booties.
The video is almost uncut, full version of the whole project, just in a fast forward mode..

How to deal with drysuit sleeves when fitting a cuff system like the SiTech QCS Oval, would you just cut the sleeve down or add material to open the cuff up to the correct size?

I have a old trilaminate SeaSkin, and I need change the damage boots to socket (noprene or latex). Can you share the list of the material? especially the glue you use as i saw you don't use aquaseal (or only for the final seal). Also, this suit has a neck and cuffs from the old silflex system, which is rigid, and I would also like to change for something more comfortable (flexible and oval siflex on the cuffs) but that would be in a second time. Thanks

Glue: SC4000 of Rema Tip Top. Use it to attach the socks. You'll need aquatape to make attachment look better and to allow smooth donning the suit. You might need the aquaseal to improve the sealing of the attachment, if required. Sitech has more flexible solutions, check in their site for more info

What is the plastic-like sheet that you use when applying glue to tapes and to prevent the two glued surfaces of the shins and the boot's cuff from sticking together (before you fold the boot's cuff up to seal it in-place on the shin)? It appears that you simply pull it out from between the two glued surfaces once you have the boot oriented (indexed?) properly i.e., (with toes to the front)...Correct?

What kind of glue are you using? Im going to glue some pockets to my suit, install a p-valve and change out my boots for socks. I have a compressed neoprene suit. Can i use aquaseal?

I’m using Rema Tip Top SC4000. I wouldn’t use aquaseal for these tasks. Only if I need to seal some leak.

What if the diameter of the boot does not match the diameter of shin of the suit?

It could not vary too much. After all, the boot was designed for that suit. Smaller differences in size are leveled by the fact that these boots are made of neoprene and they are very stretchy .

This one is Tizip Masterseal
