Nice video man; clear and concise. I bled the brakes when I did my 5th gen caliper upgrade on my '06, but not a full flush since I've owned it (~50K), so I'm definitely overdue as well.

I was under the impression that the Toyota manual stated to do the front passenger, front driver, rear passenger, rear driver. Can you explain why you did rear passenger instead?
@airsoftmechanic10 күн бұрын
On any vehicle you start from the furthest point and make your way to the front. It’s to ensure you purge all the air and old fluid out necessary

Great video, why do you need the key on the “on” position for the rear brakes?
@airsoftmechanic3 ай бұрын
Because the “on” position powers the ABS, and it forces the fluid out of the rear brakes. It’s like that on other Toyotas

Doesn't your vehicle have a pump for the rear wheel brake bleed?
@airsoftmechanic3 ай бұрын
A separate pump? Not that I’m aware of. It’s suggested to turn on the vehicle and let the ABS/master cylinder force the fluid out
