I think Cam Newton is absolutely correct, and his professional summation of what the true expectations for Travis hunters should be He's not hating on him. He's saying that the people he's up against are also superstars, College is easy to stand out with a bunch of kids who ain't going pro but once you get to the NFL, you are up against the people who are going to the Hall of Fame. And if you play both ways, that's high traffic, and it's hard to succeed in high traffic and stay healthy. Those men in the NFL are all multimillionaires, and their job is to shut- you- down! Start on both sides of the ball in the NFL? I don't think so either. Just keeping it real. I love Travis and the Buffs, I want nothing but the best for him, we all know that in the NFL the next play could be your last play. he is very LIGHT and Slight for the Monsters on the Grid iron of Professional Football. And we have to remember Cam Newton has been there and done that, and he knows well what he speaks about. What if Travis Hunter gets to the league and he doesn't have a quarterback like Shaduer Sanders? Maybe? he winds up with a quarterback like Bryce Young or Caleb Williams. Also new to the game, trying to find their place. Can't put the ball exactly where Travis is used to catching it. There are a lot of narratives that can change his production. I think he should put on about another 20 pounds of muscle. This a grown man's game NFL stands for NOT FOR LONG. Cee Dee Lamb is great but he don't have Tom Brady throwing the Ball where only he can catch it, Dak Aint got Dat, Dallas Needs Shaduer Sanders.

can he play both ways in the NFL? absolutely. SHOULD he play both ways in the NFL is a completely different question. I agree with Cam, it would not be smart at all to have your top 5 or top 10 pick playing above 50% of the snaps on both sides of the ball at that level. I'm sure teams will ask him and make it clear on how they intend to use him, more than likely during the draft process. Put more focus on one side of the ball, then weave him in certain plays and packages on the other side. That will maximize his skillset at the next level

Where he plays the most will depend on what the team needs. This is the NFL we're talking about...they won't need him on both sides like they need him at Colorado. He can actually take a few plays off at Colorado, he won't be able to do that in the NFL. I think he's a slightly better WR right now, but if he ended up being a DB full time, he'll be one of the best at the position before he finishes his career. He's that good.
