4x The Barbarians, A Civ 6 Deity challenge.

Now with 4x the normal barbarians! In this deity challenge, we ramped up the number of barbarian camps, lowered the spawn distance from a person's city, and increased the spawn rate by 4x. Things are going to get crazy.

I think it's a nice Idea, but the AI is struggling so much more. Maybe playing with barbarian off and you can only conquer citys and not Settle any.(exept Capital) Thx for your content

True. The AI crushed it when I did a livestream with this mod. I probably should’ve given the AI an additional combat bonus against barbs.

You actually got really fortunate being surrounded by other civs, they took a lot of the agro from the barbs so you only had to worry about 1 or 2 directions the barbs would come from.

After using them with Great Generals, like Ursa suggested, I liked siege weapons even in medieval times in my last two games!

So much fun! It's a shame the AI couldn't handle it because this looks like a great game mode. Does it work with Barb Clans turned on? Also, I know it's a pipe dream but I wish the pantheons and religious beliefs would get reworked so there was more than a handful of useful options. Even with so many more barbs Initiation Rites was still pretty low return. Adding something like gain faith on kills to the camp clearing bonus might make it a viable choice but probably still not worth it even then.

Barb clans mode makes the game so easy, you just get 20 suzerains and become super OP.
