In this episode we spend a week in one of our favourite places in Australia: Esperance, WA. We hire bikes for the day to ride along the Great Ocean Drive, ducking into all the incredible beaches along the way, until we arrive at our final destination; Twilight Beach.
We show you how we extend our stays off-grid in our Zone RV Peregrine with our water transfer system while camping at a hidden gem in Esperance and enjoy all the perks of our new Redarc power system.
Finally we set out on a little 4x4 beach driving mission along Eleven Mile Beach, but nothing goes to plan and we almost roll the cruiser.

Great episode guys, we love Esperance and was there last June with our caravan but ran into car trouble and missed going anywhere due to horrible weather as well. Lucky we have been there a few times and will be back again as it is not too far from our home in Perth. I know you were here last year but Albany is another place we love so hopefully you’re going to spend some time there as well. The whole southern coastline is awesome. Safe travels.

Hi guys great video your 4wd adventure reminded me of a trip to steep point most westerly point of Western Australia a very popular fishing spot we came to a spot in the track called tin hill we had about 10 attempt to get up this hill towing a tinny 4.5 meters loaded with everything we just could not get out so we lowered the tyre pressure from 8 psi to 6 psi still no go so down to 4psi still no go so down to 2 psi drove out with ease so tyre pressures are very very critical take care have fun but most of all stay safe regards peta smith

I'm so jealous that I'm not in Esperance at the moment. Love the place. As you're heading westward, just a warning if you do Bornholm beach near Albany try 8 -12 psi to get out and Calcup beach near Pemberton try 10-12 psi. Safe journey

Hey Brad. In the video you mentioned about wheel matching. I have a 79 and cruise master would allow my neg 12 rims on there suspension on the van. Your cruiser rims look like they are negative offset and the van looks positive. Can you tell us how your doing that

Great but if driving. It’s not stupid unless you keep doing dumb stuff and don’t know when to stop. Very impressed. Dare I ask which brand of battery is under warranty replacement? I’ve been running lithium under bonnet for several years on two vehicles. One battery from our friends in WA and the other from the guys in QLD. Did eventually have a bms problem with the QLD battery and , contrary to popular KZbin myth, they replaced a nearly three year old battery without question. Loving this adventure. 😊😊

Thanks Mick! Was glad to get out of those dunes for sure 😅 Its a DCS battery, run flawlessly for the last 18 mths. Only just fitted the replacement and have the old one back on its way to QLD so time will tell if they do honour the warranty 🙏

Yeah nice, i wasn't sure if your one was DCS. At least the DCS are rated for under bonnet use taking it through water crossings and i have seen it reach temps of 77c under there. Ive also seen an itech battery shit itself when hitting a water crossing, would not run one of those under there 🔥🫣

@@our.australia.trip. yep. They were really great and it went super smooth. Brand new battery but the warranty stays with the original purchase date not with the replacement. But it’s still a new battery.

We usually pre filter but in places like this where the water pressure is ordinary don’t bother. We have 2 filters on the van too. 1 year and 8 months of travelling and haven’t been sick!
