The flies are particularly bad this year in the NW, but should start to disappear mid-May. If going remote on corrugated roads, you should check tension on nuts/bolts every day (as you would know. vibration resonance can loosens them - not excusing the mechanic's poor work).The sunsets are always spectacular and magical. Keep up the good videos. Safe travels

Such a magic place - we were there this time last year and I do think it's the best time (April/May) with reduced wind. Enjoy your time on the Ningaloo. x

I take 5-10 cans of cheap fly spray, I spray quick sharp every 2-5 mins, to reduce the numbers, eventually, it works, just reduce, gotta keep doing it but far less 😅

Beautiful part of Australia, been a dream of mine to slowly explore that part & swim with the manta rays & whale sharks too. As a kid it was the dolphins at monkey mia that attracted me to the west but as an older adult & artist/ photographer its the scenery & water activities. Great video guys really enjoying your take on your journey

It sure is Michelle 😍 Whale sharks and Manta rays are on our must do list this year again! Thanks for stopping by 😀

Several years back people i know were right where youse are and ran out of fuel in their dingy and got swept out to sea. A big manhunt ensued and were found after 24 hours way up the coast somewhere. You cant be too careful!

Scary stuff, the ocean is incredibly unforgiving. For that reason we dont skimp on the safety gear and always carry a VHF, UHF, EPIRB, Flares and plenty of water 👍

Hello Hayley & Brad, we were just wondering if you have/are travelling to Ningaloo Station this time? If so, did you drive in on The Coastal Access track from Coral Bay, as the Ningaloo Road is closed. Loving your vids and travels

Thanks! We’ve been using Yardie Creek. Apparently that track from coral bay is pretty bad, but that’s all hearsay

Fabulous content. Engine workmanship. It's beyond frustrating in remote areas. Unfortunately you're going to have to become 100% familiar with your engine. Fortunately two strokes are relatively simple.

Love Nigaloo Reef..we stayed at Osprey for 2 weeks on one site in 2019 Just wondering why you missed other great spots along the way Shark Bay, Denham, Kalbarri, Horrocks, Dongara, etc. The majority of KZbinrs have covered Ningaloo to death, but no one talks about the less well known spots along the Coral Coast. Any way love the water colour.

Hey Dave, just the way the weather and timing went. We did all those places last year but tbh the Ningaloo is where its at for us 👍 STEEP PT: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpK5n3SwqrRmqaMsi=EHblk_STWTL0kspC SHARK BAY: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5iTdo2jqciSi5Isi=8VB5pa_mgOsVb1dN KALBARRI: kzbin.info/www/bejne/raDEfKmObNNgh5osi=ebFc-nNnWJrJHTVp

Thanks again for a great episode. Brad and Hayley. Question how low do you deflate your rear vehicle tyres when on corrigated roads or sandy as these are the most loaded. Trevor
@our.australia.trip.6 ай бұрын
Hey Trevor, go by look. Deflate them so they resemble the fronts in terms of footprint. Mostly 5 or so psi more in the rears.

Hey mate, where are you guys filling up water / emptying the dump point in this region? Stay awesome 🤙🏽
@our.australia.trip.6 ай бұрын
Hey! we filled up water in Carnarvon before heading in. Otherwise the closest water point is Coral Bay. There are a few dump points and skip bins points throughout the station all marked on wikicamps 👍
