4x4 Best Moments 2018

It was an intense year of four-wheel driving for Aussie Four Wheelers. We started the "Best 4x4 Moments" video series in January last year to look back at the whole year of wheeling and show you the highlights from our trips. This is our second instalment and we hope to continue every January into the future. It is also a movie length premiere, so those that constantly keep asking for extra long videos, I hope you appreciate all the work that goes into making these (see more details below).
As many of you were concerned by messaging me privately, I will take this opportunity to clarify things publicly and apologise for the irregular uploads and the lack of consistency (sometimes 3 weeks between uploads) in the past year compared to many years of regular uploads prior to that. This does not mean that I am not "into it" anymore. On the contrary, AFW are going bigger and better, as we are approaching the 100K subscribers milestone (currently sitting at 96,5K), so stay tuned, subscribe and don't miss out on any of our future content. I truly appreciate your concerns, but remember... 4x4 is life!
The reason for "slacking off" in the past year was due to time not being on my side as I am struggling between work and the hobby (and not to mention family time and other issues of life). For example, this video took 70 hours to edit, where I could've been working on the mods, servicing, even wheeling, etc. One day I am hoping to have a full-time video editor. For your information why it took so long, here is the breakup:
- 9 hours for collating footage from the archives
- 22 hours trimming
- 32 hours colour correction & colour grading
- 3 hours upload & description
- 4 hours thumbnail (the thumbnail is comprised of the 3 vehicles separately here: GU TD42 21:05, GU ZD30 31:45 and LC80 1:17:02)

I’ve got a 2006 Jeep 5.7L limited with a navigation system it had moveable side view mirrors but one got knocked of by a trash can so I just replaced them both, it’s silver/tan ish and chrome rims with a black grille because I was in a car incident and couldn’t find a chrome grille to replace it but it still runs like a dream
