4x400m Relay-1995 World Championships,Gothenberg

With Michael Johnson and Butch Reynolds in their line up it was hardly surprising that the USA team dominated this event! None of the other teams ,Jamaica apart, were that impressive. Germany got DQ and Kenya didn't even turn up ! This was the last time the USA took the gold for some time ...the following four WC relays were won by the US but then retrospectively disqualified for drug issues. Interestingly the current WR holder at that time and their third leg runner,Butch Reynolds,had just returned from a two year drug suspension himself..dark days indeed. It'd be nice to say things had changed....

Most of the american track and field team were cheating so i dont respect any results from that period (70,s through to 2000.s
