4X4 insurance really needs a shake up. Because the big companies fail to do so, this South African company Hollard has cornered the market and Club 4x4 purposely pretends to be independent when it is an agent and as such legally has NO discretionary powers to override their parent underwriting company. Yet if you challenge Club 4x4 as to the poor customer service reviews for Hollard insurance, they will say that Hollard has no role in their insurance they are just backers. Not legally if you have any legal understanding. My question is- if Club 4x4 is such a caring company as opposed to their backer, why associate with them i9n the first place? It's like a Mafia business front claiming they have nothing to do with the shady deals the Mafia bosses are into.

Gday Millard, we are an Agent of Hollard, and we’ve never hidden from that. However we have authority to manage claims and we do that, not Hollard, so it isn’t quite as you say. We follow claims experience very closely and we get very good feedback on claims outcomes. It sounds like you may have had a bad experience with Hollard directly and if that is the case, I’m sorry to hear that. But Club 4X4 is not Hollard, we are two separate entities.

Lol, 'asset'. Every enthusiast knows their vehicle is a hungry-liability-cash-eating machine.

From what I've been told 33 inch tyres are the biggest you can put on a 4x4 Anything bigger is illegal

There is not a twin cab 4by4 that would be legal with 33s put on. 7% in Rolling diameter increase is the limit. The triton gsr starts with 265 by 60 by 18. If you put 33 on that you are at 7.2 %.
