How did they use to print photos in old magazines when there were no computers at all? Thank you.

Fcoand Lima. The printers made cliche's. This was an PRINTERS job using offset machienes. Why don't you use GOOGLE for more information.

Is the Kodak frame you're using the one labeled "for 4x5 Negatives or Smaller"? I'm interested in getting one myself for making 4x5 contact prints on 5x7 paper.
@DavesFilmLab3 жыл бұрын
Yes it’s a Kodak print frame, should accommodate anything up to a 5x7 negative since it accommodates the 5x7 paper

@@DavesFilmLab Awesome, thanks. If you don't mind me asking, how do you go about centering the negative on the paper?
@DavesFilmLab3 жыл бұрын
@@mgoddard23 measured it and then put gaff tape on the inside of the frame, the edge of the gaff tape seems to be enough to hold the negative in place

Can you contact print with regular multi grade paper and a regular light? I see you used an enlarger for the light.

Nicholas Fanzo Yea, you can use RC paper and a regular light

Dave, with that many washes are you able to do any water recycling, or is it a continual flow from the tap?

How old movies were copied for distribution?
@DavesFilmLab3 жыл бұрын
I’m no expert in cinema but to my understanding, films were copied onto positive print films to be shown for projection
