Man This video needs to be shared all over the place lol! I have the same exact adjustable fuel regulator on my 03 Silverado, I did have to replace the regulator a few years back due to the inner diaphragm screen being torn, BUT the auto parts store one was NOT adjustable and in fact it wouldn’t let it hardly go past 50-52psi which was causing it to run lean ASF to the point where it was throwing lean codes and just falling on its face! So I took the new screen and the seals all from the new regulator and put it on my old one and reused it since I discovered that the regulator itself is still in working condition. I got mine set right at about 60 psi and mannn did it make a huge difference, it sounds a lot better and responds quicker and also slightly better fuel economy. No more lean codes since then, and yes I also have a new fuel pump and changed the inline filter out too so she’s definitely getting the proper amount of fuel

I’d this something on newer 5.3s have because I have a 1999 ls and it does not have that screw?

Moat of them have it. Someone might have put a new aftermarket on yours with no set screw
