Coming along unreal! You should buy or make a stimpmeter and show the progress each week of how fast the green is rolling as it starts to fill in. Be interesting to see how different cut heights and how many times the green is rolled effects the speed too 👌🏼

Looking good! I am still saying “it’s getting close” 3 years into my green. It takes a long time for the green to fill completely in. I ran into the issue of trying to water the bare spots with out puting too much water on the green and causing disease. My green was really firm for about the first 2 years until the grass established deeper roots to absorb a golf ball better. Throw the pin in! Heck yea

Nice use on the tackifier! I’ve never tried pre mixing it with water. I usually use it on large reclamation projects so we spread it with drone spreaders and wait for rain but that works too! I’m actually in Canada but thanks for the shoutout!

This is awesome! Obviously I am extra amped this week due to The Master's, but does your climate temperature allow for some surrounding pink and white azaleas? I think with that brick wall in the back for some sponsor banners and Law Tip Vids Logo, it would look epic to surround the rest of that back stop with some azaleas and color. Keep up the great work. Congrats man, tons of work getting to this point and you’re so close! I’d agree with others to wait for it to fill in for the pin, maybe next week for the masters would work? Or even do it at the end of the masters to give it another week, but tying it into something like that would be really memorable, and likely make you enjoy watching the masters more each year as you be reminded of all the work that went into the green and the pride you have for it.

I work as the superintendent at my golf course in Iowa in the US we have think bed knives down to .115 so I think should be okay. Love the work you have done!

I think too early for an in ground pin, but one of those practice putt above ground pins that are a flag spiked into the ground with a metal disk around it the same size as the pin hole would be ideal in my mind. That way you can still putt but not cut holes in the turf yet. However, your channel, your green, do what you want to do

If I ever issues like this on tees, approaches or greens with wash areas or pure sand with new grass coming up, I tel, all the greens mowers to stay off those areas until it grows in, if it continues to become a problem I just sod them from nursery, or courses without a nursery green pull plugs from somewhere on that green than plug the area that's been an issue. You always have that option.

Do you cut without the bucket? We would cut without buckets fairly regularly when growing in new greens. Helps get the cushiony thatch starting, and a little bit of free feed. Or is it a disease concern for you down under?

Imagine a 10 mm bedknife. The reel blade hits (cut the grass) on top of the bedknife. So how would that be able to cut around 5mm without dragging on the dirt? That's what I think it is lol. Not 100% sure. 😅
