Great call! It had "Hot on Your Heels"! The radio show Metal Shop sampled that grinding sound at the end of Yngwie's solo as part of their intro. The album was recorded at Prairie Sun studios in Cotati CA. I recorded there a few years back and the engineer on site showed me where a young Yngwie had smacked his head open on a low hanging roof tail when he stepped outside to take a piss in the dark. He said they even had to break from recording his parts for the day while he got stitched up.

I will admit, I considered myself a metalhead back in the 80's. I was into all sorts of hard rock and heavy metal and often looked for some obscure bands. I was mostly into the Glam/Sleaze rock scene, which later became "hair" metal, but also into speed metal and even hardcore punk rock. I had friends heavily into the thrash and death metal scenes, and many who were into classic rock and early metal... I've never ever heard of any of these bands!
