And where is your mother anyway? You get seperated! And you are raped, for you must get a baby, of course, and you will give milk. That is exactly what happens to cows, in modern farms. Cows don't talk much, so we have no idea what they think of their prison life. And you just talk about meerkats in gangs? People are not that friendly as they seem. Many eat meat and have no idea some animal has died for that hamburger. You can reply, that's nature, but are cities with millions of people still nature? We do have quite an effect on nature, have you ever thought how much vegetables all these cows eat, every day? You could feed a continent on that. But no, it goes to the cows, so we must grow EXTRA vegetables for the humans. And vegetable farms are on a spot that once was unspoiled nature. Eating meat has an impact on how much land we need for farming. Isn't that great? Ruining nature, because fat people eat far too much meat? How much protein do you think a person needs? Bet a hamburger is more than twice that amount? Homo sapiens is as crazy as a door bell. Ding dong.

Can you imagine how weirded out these animals are when they find out that the spy animals aren't real. Like those Meerkats - looking at a giant, unblinking, silent Meerkat, or a near perfect recreation of one of their most deadly enemies only to realise it can't move. That's a misconception though, the wild life of a male Lion is very hard, that's why females live far longer despite having the same lifespan in a captivity. The male Lion protect the territory (notably, he protect the cubs from the hyenas) and fight other males for the pride. But the real difficult part is to become a dad to begin with. Most lions aren't alphas and have to survive alone (or with another beta males), which is very hard. Every male cub reaching adulthood have experience this for years before being strong enough to challenge an alpha for his pride. And sooner or later, they'll be chased from their pride by a younger/stronger male and back to hunt alone again, as long as they manage until death.

pretty much, if the pride is stable, they are quite lazy unless they sense they need to protect their area and pride. life of a male lion is much harder than females. dads usually kick out males at age 2 to fend for themselves, its easier if they have a brother so that they can stick together and bond. in a pride, the females usually do the hunting, so yeah, the males are often lazy when they can.
