The contact paper is a top notch hack. I am not renting but I used to and I would have never thought about it 👍🏾 And what about that black planter 😍😍😍 gorgeous!

You might be able to thrift for cloches! Or use something different as a cloche, like a jug or a cake cover :)

I love the idea of having 2 hoya in one pot!! I actually have a hoya chelsea and a hoya wayetii potted together (in the same soil) and they seem pretty happy. They were both outgrowing their tiny nursery pots but were too small to each have their own 4" pot, so I put them together. I honestly wasn't too sure about it at first but now I think they look great together :)

I never would've thought contact paper could offer a water-resistent protection. Farrrrr too late for my current apt windows 😅 but will keep in mind for the next move. I also appreciate including window orientation. A lot of beginners don't have a good understanding of the differences in light. Not all windows are created equal. (I'm wishing SO HARD my next place has better lighting 🤞)

In the summer, in the W facing window, would your plants in the glass cloche things get cooked? I had some plants suffer just from when I closed the curtains and they were in the windowsill, they cooked! Now I'm paranoid!

@@GoodandPlanty Nick Pileggi refers to them every now and again, sadly for me the wooden ones aren't available in Austria, but they are in the US I think
