My brother is a guide and him and a few other guides he knows help each other out and they spread out to find the fish then target them once they find the hot spot… their customers are always happy

Totally agree on the jig heads. Also too heavy has caused me to hang up more often also. Also a larger 6-8" swim bait might need 1oz or more to put in on the bottom where a 1/4 would work with a 3" swim bait. 🤷

Where I live unless you want to take serious risk of getting stuck its super hard to get to the reds in Cherry Grove Inlet, SC from my experience. Cant find them at high tide and low tide its just too shallow. So I went out and bought a drone. Found them in 5 mins. in 6 inches of water. first time ive ever seen a school of reds in that inlet. sometimes a birds eye view is a game changer

Problem for me is knowing the depths I fish...I cant find any maps or water depth images of areas around me
