I got to agree with the gold digger for texas waters… this past weekend was my second time throwing the basic white 2.0 and barely got a bite… im sure if i had the gold digger it would have been a different story… im gonna be out for the summer season but i should be back fishing by fall and thats when it gets real good… ill have to start ordering up some stuff till then…

Do you have any fishing coaches in NC area?
@Saltstrong

One of our full time coaches (Wyatt) lived and fished in NC for many years. Another full time coach is in GA. As for getting localized help, we have many helpful members who live in NC and will be happy to help give localized tips for any questions you have.

Great video guys! Hey Matt I live in the panacea area and I’m a shore fisherman can you give me some tips and pointers? I’m already an insider but since you are familiar with bottoms rd and mashes sands I was hoping you could help me out.

Hope you don’t mind me piggy-backing, Wavy. I’m an insider also. Heading to St. Marks July 7th…will be on the water a few days. So the Alabama Leprechaun and the F.R.E.D. paddle tail. Thanks! Anything in particular I should look for structure/conditions-wise in that area? This will be my first time fishing up there. Thanks Matt!

Hey Wavy! Have you tried out the wakulla beach area at the west point for shore fishing? Wading out at shell Point can be productive as well! Those broken flats can be super productive in the morning this time of year! I would suggest looking for High tides right at the first of the morning for optimal results! Hope that helped buddy!

@@bowflex113 I don't mind at all Joshua! I definitely recommend the lures you just stated! Those are my confidence baits for sure! Look for the broken bottom grass flats. The checkerboard looking bottom can be super productive for this area! I hope that helps! I hope that you have a great trip!

I recognize y’all want to sell y’all’s lure but it looks disingenuous when y’all only talk about your lure.
@Saltstrong

We keep talking about it because it keeps working!!! Redfish, Snook, Seatrout, Flounder, and more can't get enough!

@@Saltstrong I don’t deny the lure can catch fish, but when you put so much focus on that single lure it seems disingenuous. It’s a paddle tail it’s a tried and true lure. It’s not like we are reinventing the wheel. There is not that much that your lure does that other paddle tails don’t. Personally after watching the first 10 minutes of y’all only talking about your lure I had to ask myself “ am I really learning anything or am I being sold something “ I concluded I was being sold something. This channel is about learning, at least that’s what y’all say.

@@CatchingwithKyle isn't it amazing how every video, for every season, for every species of fish they same the same exact lure is the best one? lol....
@CatchingwithKyle
@CatchingwithKyle 2 жыл бұрын
@@skatevans1215 🙄 only thing that lure is the best at is marketing. It’s a fine lure but it’s not the end all be all. You put any lure in the right fisherman hands and you will have similar results. I’m fine with that they market their product. But when I watch a 39 minute video about summer “lures” I didn’t expect to be watching a 39 minute commercial for their own lure.

@@CatchingwithKyle I can tell you, as MattINAYak with "8 rods in the back", I use many many lures and presentations from all different brands and manufacturers, but I can tell you that none are more consistent than the ones that Salt Strong produces. The baits I name are not biased, but based on actual on the water results. I would be happy to try any lures or presentations that you think may out perform the ones I am currently throwing, so If you have suggestions let me know! 💪
