Nothing amazing, but already seeing results. Doing your 30 day splits and back every day challenge to see what effect it has.

Oh I’m a gymnast too! Thx for sharing your story and I hope you’re doing better. I myself get discouraged a lot because no matter how much I stretch or do conditioning, I’m not very strong or flexible. I get skills at a very slow pace so I tend to fall behind. On top of that, I can’t seem to go 2 months without injuring myself in some way... This video really helped though,

I aim to do this and Hannah's 3-way splits stretch daily to improve my flexibility! To contextualize, I am a recreational dancer who has not taking stretching seriously until now. I am more flexible than the average person, but compared to people who stretch for flexibility consistently, I am notably inflexible. I'm committed to change that. DAY 1 (05/08/2023):

Definetly worked 100%!!

Hey so i’m doing this and the other stretching routine for hopefully 1-2months. I’ll update here so i can keep myself consistent! Day 1: Wow. This was VERY humbling. Really showed me how weak my upper body is and how inflexible my back is. But that’s okay, that is the exact reason I’m here doing this stretch! To get better/improve! In conclusion, day 1 was hard for me personally. Couldn’t even hold myself up in the backbend! But i’ll be able to soon! To anyone seeing this, YOU GOT THIS! Something I’m going to have to tell myself everyday is that CONSISTENCY IS KEY! You might not see improvement in 1-2weeks and that’s okay!! Keep going, you got this!! Day 1 Complete! ✅ Day 2: Y’all this was still humbling. Upper body strength is still TERRIBLEEE. And much hasn’t changed since day 1, this was still pretty difficult for me. But of course, you can’t expect to see a difference in 1 day! See y’all tomorrow! Day 2 Complete! ✅ Day 3: Did not feel like doing this at all today but i reminded myself of what goals i want to accomplish and that this is the way to do so! Very hard to get through it bc i was so tired from school and practice but overall, it’s getting a bit easier. Still hard but getting easier. Day 3 Complete! ✅ Day 4: Had a bad day and sadly didn’t feel like getting up to do my stretches. Day 4 Not Complete! ❌ Day 5: Upper body still weak, haven’t seen any progress, hoping to see some in the next few days! Day 5 Complete! ✅

Day 1: was okay struggled with bridge a bit Day 2: felt easier but struggled with last exercise Day 3: Skipping dont have time lol Day 4: felt easier and less painful, could do a slight back bend with the help of a chair. But not able to fully extend my arms. Improvement from not being able to do it all tho. Day 5: same as day 4 Day 6 skipped Day 7 major improvements, My back is definitely less stiff and I can back bend a better than before but not fully yet Day 8: skipped Day 9: same as day 7, plus feeling easier to do all the exercises Day 10: skipped Day 11: skipped Day 12: Seeing improvements not major but definitely more flexible can hold a back bend but cant walk or stretch my arms full. Doing a separate exercise to improve this Day 13: skipped Day 14: can hold a head bend :D

This is a lovely video, and you're clearly very talented. It seems pretty advanced for beginners though. A video that teaches intermediate exercises that work into these would be nice. For example, the crab hold demands a lot of upper body strength that can be developed apart from working this one pose.

If you're in the US, crab hold is often called a backbend or more commonly a bridge but they all work 😀 also love the wall idea because while my legs are stronger then my arms I always feel my legs start to give out in that position and I think this will help! ❤️

im doing that 30 day challenge, my splits and back results daily: day 1 (12/04): i can only "properly" do back stretch 1 and 3, but thats okay. I feel like i can do a little better the splits stretches bcs i've already tried them before, but i cant still do not even close to a split. day 2 (13/04): i'm more comfortable with the majority of stretches, it hurts a little less and i feel like i can go a little close to a split. day 3 (14/04): ***** [ll be at my bf's house at day 4 and 5, but ill see if i can do it]
