If you buy the Hermès belt, I would suggest getting the guilloché H buckle. It doesn’t scratch because the surface is decorated/engraved. The smooth ones tend to scratch easily. I love these videos where you give lists of items and compare and give your opinion on which is best! 😊

I love the reversible Ferragamo belts with the aged matte finish and thinner design. It's so dainty and subtle. I can also pop in a cheapo leather belt strap and, voila, new fancy-looking belt!

I had the Gucci Marmont belt in the larger size, with the pearl buckle… wore it a lot, but ended up selling it, because it just seems a little too ‘in your face’, if you know what I mean. Very recognisable. I really like the look of the Dior belt, but it is quite expensive, so I would probably go for the Fendi which I also like. I think the Dior and Fendi buckles are a little more subtle. I do like the Louis Vuitton signature print, but I am really concerned that it is going down the same route as Burberry did 20 years ago…

For the Hermes Constance belt I’d suggest the buckle I got; guilloche. The plain solid metal ones (even the matte one you suggested) scratch and get ugly reaaaally easy, so the guilloche buckle is the better option for more quality and longevity🙂 And regarding the price, they aren’t necessarily that much more expensive than the other brands, considering you can take off/on the buckle and use it for multiple belts, so you won’t need more than 1 buckle and can buy plenty of the belt straps separately later 😊

The Gucci is my number 1 as well. I love mine. I like the idea of the LV but the belt feels cheap. I think it’s because my Gucci is heavy. Still considering keeping it.

I got my first Gucci Marmont belt :) in May from Gucci London after releasing -77 pounds plus was my 30th so something special to remember. You can get the reversible Gucci belt but I did not like it. Wanted to go with Classic black only. I wear my belt around my waist and through jeans so can wear with dresses etc this was important to me :)

I just bought the LV reversible in the monogram and black leather too. My question is how do they hold up? Most belts wear off on the edges by the buckle from the constant in and out. That's what I'm concerned about. I also bought the Gucci opposite GG silver and gold in black leather. It has the same closure so again the constant putting in through the loop and belt loops especially in work when I go to the bathroom 100 times a day. I'm worried that they will get worn before their time. That's why I just for the first time bought two luxury belts. Never had any before and I'm 54.

When it comes to reversible belts, I love the mechanism on Ferragamo and Dolce & Gabbana (though I'm boycotting Dolce & Gabbana). Hermès and LV reversible, ugh, for the price, they're not worth it.
