In this episode I calculate the pure and mixed strategy Nash equilibrium of a three-player simultaneous move game.
It's crucial to watch lecture videos in the proper order to ensure effective learning. This is because the concepts in each video build upon those introduced in previous videos. To help you with this, I recommend visiting my website, www.selcukozyurt.com, for a recommended course outline.

I found your Game theory videos extremely helpful for understanding the concepts. Thank you, Professor. Ozyurt! It would be great if you could make some more videos regarding Microeconomic Theory!

What do I do when im looking for a normal mixed strategy Nash Equilibrium and not a symmetric one?

Can we cite your videos in the bibliography of our graduate papers? I find them very informative and I'd like to give you credit

Can someone explain why we are equating the expected utilities of playing X and Y

because twe have to prove they are symmetric and symmetric games give same payoffs so we equate to prove

No, it's because in equilibriums, actions of players 1 and 2 are such that player 3 can choose his actions indifferently (if X gives more reward than Y, he'd rather take X only)
