Something that I've noticed and I think it fills in the physical touch category is that everytime I have a hoodie or a coat anything that has a hood attached to it he likes to joke around and either put it on me or take it down. He does that with my hats as well and then puts it back himself. He finds other reasons to touch me "accidently" or not but this happens on a regular basis. He also put a fake bird in my hair once and then took it down, it was cute. He does other stuff on the list too but another thing that is pretty noticeable is he looks at me from across the room or a group while having a huge grin on his face, he looks very cute when he does this too. I must admit I haven't had a crush since my last relationship with a girl who broke up with me and hadn't had a crush on a guy since 4 years ago, I feel quite stupid when I lay awake at night just analyzing our conversations. Sorry for the rambling, it's the first time I get to ramble about him in writing, Ive mostly kept the crush to myself.

Why do I keep checking out this channel? It only reminds me of what I cannot and will never have. There is no human being that could even consider looking at me with more than pity. Dudeee! Heads up, it can't be that bad. You should just honestly start doing the things you like and WILL need in the future, focus on yourself while there are no opportunities around at the moment. I'm not saying you will definitely find your soul mate, but I know for a fact you'll find at least that "one" which is worthy. So, while you can't do or have something you want now, enjoy and focus on other stuff, nothing happens all at once, things take time, go on and keep going! So I like this girl, but we only really started talking here recently. We get along well and constantly smile and laugh at each other. We always make unintentional eye contact. I think she likes me too, and has even openly had a debate with herself about whether or not she had romantic or platonic feelings for me. There's a video by Dr. Helen Fisher, "the brain in love." Basically, sometimes being liked is not your choice...it's dependent on a lot of coincidence and time. It's dependent on factors like if your body produces chemicals, genetic signals that pair up well with another. So that person that pairs with you well needs to be proximate enough with you and for enough amount of time for their body to process your body's release of chemicals. It also depends on other factors like aligned values, interests, level of attractiveness, intelligence. So there are two types of responses in what make a person recognize if they like you: one is an instantaneous reaction from the body, subconscious, and not your choice i.e. does this person's chemicals work well with mine? The other takes a lot of time...it takes a lot of time to know what a person's values and interests are. So maybe it's not that you're unlikable, you are just yet to meet a person who both biological matches up with you + spends enough time to get to know you. I think my best advice to you in not having a crush nor being crushed on is to spend time doing things you like and building friendships. Romance will happen when you might not expect it :)

That and dealing with a stressful or broken home life. Oh and, perhaps, trying to figure out what to do with yourself as a responsible adult in an ever-changing, competitive sphere such as advanced education.
