Should have included Matt Jones out of Arkansas on this list. Dude was a freak athlete and in his freshman year he helped beat Eli Manning in Ole Miss. Had the most rushing touchdowns in the SEC until Tebow came around. He switched to WR and was drafted in the first round in the 2005 NFL Draft by the Jaguars. Ended up not totally translating and got pushed out due to substance abuse problems. Great story of talent who changed, got a chance, and blew it.

You should have mentioned Brian Mitchell, who was a college QB at Louisiana-Lafayette, but became a kick returner in the NFL and is second in NFL history to Jerry Rice in career all-purpose yards. And he got to throw the ball a few times in the pros himself, and wasn't half-bad as a running back.

@@kvngcobra3621 The browns aren't even a bad team anymore? They are stacked on defense, tailback, and reciever. Mayfield has so many weapons and failed to deliver. They could run straight up rpos with OBJ and Landry and they could win. That's how talented they are. One could argue that the coaching and playcalling was the biggest issue. BUT Mayfield definitely should've had more success this year regardless.

Here's a couple of "old school" QB's who made it in the NFL at different positions: 1. Rex Kern, Ohio State -- Won Rose Bowl one year; next year? Safety for the Baltimore Colts. 2. Jack Mildren, Oklahoma -- Think he won championship; the next year? Kern's mate at safety for the Colts. Both could have been a great QB for the Colts; but they would have had to battle with some dudes named Morrall and Unitas for the top spot. . .

Dat Boi you're just upset because you know I'm right; and deep down, you agree with me. It's like I read your mind and you can't stand it. You feel violated. I get it. But you can't argue one single point I made and that's a fact

One name: Cordell Stewart. Sure, he was mainly used as quarterback throughout his career, but he was versatile. He played as wide receiver, punt/kickoff returner, and was even asked to kick. In my opinion: nobody was better at playing multiple positions in a football game than Cordell Stewart.
